Vacation is Over - Back to Running

So sad...our week in Disney is over tomorrow. We head back on a late night flight and should make it home my midnight. Now that vacation is over, it is time to get back to training, which means an early Saturday wake-up for a 4 1/2 hour trail run. I'm very much looking forward to getting back out on the trails - its been almost 5 days since I put in any running, and Rocky Raccoon is just a few weeks away. If I can muster the energy to hit 26.2 miles on Saturday, it will make 4 consecutive weeks of putting in a run of at least marathon length.

Quick Side Note - Bryon Powell has started a new feature on his awesome blog (I Run Far) titled "weRunFar". "weRunFar entries will be dedicated to collecting blog entries, blogs, photo albums, websites, and other online information by, about, or for those who run far", starting with an entry posted today on Andy Jones-Wilkins. I wrote about Bryon's blog and encouraged everyone to read it regularly in my January 1 post "2008 - Off We Go". Again, this is one of the best blogs out there for those who run far - go check it out !

Every year we take our annual Disney trip I realize more and more why (as adults) we do it....and here is the reason why :
