Back to the Grind

Today was my first meaningful run since Sunday's Caumsett Park 50k, getting in a nice 6 miles. We've had some amazing weather in New York for the past few days, with temps reaching the mid 50s. Unfortunately, the mornings are still quite cold.

I'm still pondering Jess's "I Can't Sleep" post from yesterday, in which she lists the "7 things I'm NOT proud of". I'm almost afraid to even start to put that list together and would probably end up with way about 100 things competing for the top 7. I am also now completely addicted to the Cannon Challenge Game that Scott posted a while back. Bob and I are competing on a daily basis.

Speaking of Bob, Isn't it time he got his blog up and running again ? What's more important, Bob, work or blogging ? If you don't blog, the rest of us have nothing to read while we are supposed to be working. Get back to it !

I did not do a "Weekly Training Summary" for last week (2/25 - 3/2). I think I got too caught up with the race and company and everything. Here's the quick summary of last week :

Monday: 5.15
Tuesday: 0
Wednesday: o
Thursday: 6.52
Friday: 4.60
Saturday: 0
Sunday: 31.07

Off to work we go.

  4. Yeah, lets not start any lists like that - and let Bob post it, he seems to love posting random stuff similar ideas:)
You don't want to know my weekly mileage...although I am still hopeful to recover from shaking bladder by Sunday's long run.

  5. The canon challenge is definitely addicting. I can entertain myself and the kids for a good 15 minutes by dropping the canon to 10 degrees and bumping the velocity to 100 and rapid firing into the mountain side.
