Heading North

Hello from Winnipeg, the capital and largest city in Manitoba, Canada. After two flights (New York to Minneapolis to Winnipeg) we have arrived for a short over-night in Winnipeg. The good news is I get to watch the Stanley Cup Finals and Hockey Night in Canada. I also did Frank and Jess proud by sipping some local brewed ales at the hotel bar. It is safe to say that I'll get a good night sleep tonight. We are up at 4:30 AM tomorrow to catch our last flight to Knee Lake (way north in Manitoba). I'm hopeful that I'll get Internet access there so that I can keep up with fellow bloggers and share some pictures of our fishing trip...and, of course, to get e-mails from the 5 and 7 year olds. I just love getting e-mails from the little ones.

Enjoy the weekend, and best of luck to everyone running the Nipmuck Trail Marathon and other events today and tomorrow.

  1. They have some good beer there in Winnipeg! I have been there twice and have personally toured some of the city's bars, so they are Jess-approved.

  2. OMG that is WAAAAYYYY North! Have fun homie!

  3. Have a good time, Anthony :)
