Javelina Jundred 100 Mile Trail Race - Most Memorable Performance

In addition to the various other awards that the Javelina Jundred 100 Mile Race doles out (which includes best ass and best costume), an award is given for the most memorable performance.  It is called the Geri K Award.  It has yet to be awarded (as far as I can tell from the web-site), but regardless of which runner ends up with the Geri K Award, there is no doubt that Chris Pulick's performance was memorable.

Chris survived some of the most nastiest chafing (so I am told by his lovely wife Susan who also finished JJ100 with a stellar 27:09 finish) known to man, in the most undesirable of places on the human body.  We will not go into any further detail on that in order to spare our readers, but, the determination that Chris displayed in finishing JJ100 will forever be etched in my brain.

So, while you wait for the special video race report (which may take a day or two to load up all the videos), take a look at a very special video finish, featuring G.A.C.'s very own Chris Pulick !

  4. You stud you. Your 100 mile time beats mine this year AND last year. It's time for me to learn your secrets!

As for chafing, I don't think my chafeage at Mountain Masochist in 2007 can be beat. Some things just shouldn't bleed.
