Race Report - 2009 Walt Disney World 1/2 Marathon

Just a quick post.  Ginette had a spectacular race, besting her half marathon PR by over 10 minutes, and finishing the Walt Disney World 1/2 Marathon in 2:01:36.  So close to sub-2 hours !  Next time !

Two videos are below.  The first is running down Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, and the second is of Ginette's finish.  I also took a video of the 1/2 marathon start and will post that later (its up now and is the first video).

  5. woo hoo!! congrats Ginette --what a fun, if bouncy video of her finish --loved re-living the finish from last year, with the costumed characters, etc.
    You are so lucky to have escaped--we have had 8 or inches of snow up here, making running outside all but impossible!!!

  7. I was just wondering how your sissy short race went. Haha I'm just kidding. I just signed for a half myself. They're fun. What a way to spend the day, running an even together. Congratulations on Ginette on a PR, those always feel good.
