2009 Badwater Training : 65 Days to Go

Bib numbers and starting wave assignments have been announced for the 2009 Badwater 135 Mile Ultramarathon.  I am bib number 89 and got a 2nd Wave, 8:00 AM start time.

  1. The 8 a.m. start sounds good... you get to sleep in a little and you can pretend it's not brutally hot:-)

    Anyway by 11 a.m. or noon you should be near Furnace Creek Ranch and the beautiful spring-fed resort pool...I remember the pool fondly from last year's Death Valley Marathon in December.
