Weekend Roundup & Charity Follow-Up

We had a mix of weather this weekend in New York - a beautiful, sunny Saturday, followed by a nasty, rainy Sunday.  The result - a nice Saturday workout at Bear Mountain (4 mile hill repeats up Perkins Drive) and an indoor 2 hour cross training session on Sunday.  Slowly but surely, the legs and rest of the body are starting to cooperate and work together again.

The response to Thursday's "Running For Charity" post was great.  Here is a list of just a few of the folks and the charities for which they run:

Challenged Athletes Foundation - Todd Baum, Leigh Corbin, Alan Geraldi, Blake Benke, Jeff Gleason, Dennis Koors

Getting2Tri - Jen and Lane Vogel

Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation - Eric Gelber

World Harvest Mission - Jonathan Gunderson (donate here)

Friends of Karen - Ira Zaroff

Aids Orphans Rising - Terry Madl, Lisa Smith-Batchen

  1. Hi Tony..I'm glad to see you're back at it--knew it wouldn't take you too long. It's been really great to read/see all the Badwater posts. Thanks so much for letting us live vicariously through you! I would love it if Wayne would do a guest post about crewing, the way you did last year. I remember how interesting it was to see the other end of things. Just a thought...hope Wayne doesn't hate me for it. If I can swing it, I'll see you this weekend.
