Quick Race Update : WDW 1/2 Marathon

Super kudos to Ginette for today's performance at the Walt Disney World Half Marathon.  It was bad enough that her morning started off with two exceptional sounding bouts of vomiting (you know, the ones that come from deep in the throat).  That was followed by a good morning greeting from Orlando Florida of sleet/ice, rain, and temperatures with a real feel reaching the teens!  Still, even with several pit stops along the way, she coasted in for a 2:25:26 finish, completing day one of Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge.  Tomorrow she will look to complete the challenge in the Walt Disney World Marathon, her second go at that distance (the first being the Grand Teton Races Trail Marathon last September; 7:04:52).  I, frankly, enjoyed the 13.1 mile "jog" today, but could have done without the sleet/ice/rain.
