More Brazil 135 Ultra Magic

Wednesday's video of Tom Sperduto finishing the Brazil 135 Mile Ultra was simply amazing.  I am still drawn to tears when watching it.  There are more amazing stories, pictures and videos from the event.  Another favorite of mine is the performance of all of the Americans, including great friend and fellow Drymax teammate Brian KrogmannBrian came into the Brazil 135 Mile Ultra fresh off some fantastic 2009 performances, including wins at the Keys 100 and San Francisco One Day (141.1 miles).  Despite an injured ankle (he was icing it the entire day before the race), and a fight with a wall the night immediately prior to the race (note to self, don't try to visit the bathroom with no lights on in a room shared by 3 people), Brian took 3rd place with a time of 30:14:00 (only 5 minutes behind the 2nd place finisher).

Americans were a perfect 9 for 9 in successful finishes.....

Brian Krogmann (30:14:00)
Ray Sanchez (35:01:00)
Brian Recore (46:57:00)
Connie Dockendorf (49:48:00)
Kenneth Posner (53:10:00)
Dan Marinsik (53:11:00)
Anthony Portera (53:31:00)
Jarom Thurston (53:31:00)

A big round of applause and congratulations to all of the Americans on a fantastic performance at the Brazil 135 Mile Ultra.
