Weekly Training Summary (Badwater Training Week 9 of 10)

In an ironic, cruel turn of events, the week immediately after posting about how rest had made a gigantic difference with the leg/groin issue that has plagued me since the Pineland Farms 50 Mile Race (see Weekly Training Summary (Badwater Training week 8 of 10), the start of this week can be best described as running into that brick wall called regression.  Monday's run was followed by a significant increase in discomfort and tightness in the leg.  Never fear - just go back to what was working to make it feel better, right?  I did just that, did a great deal of stretching and rolling, and also invested in a pair of CW-X Shorts which seemed to provide a little added support.  The result was a pair of weekend runs that were pain-free.  HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL !
