Kicking Off The Erie Canal 363 Mile Run

I had the honor of helping to kick off The Erie Canal 363, benefiting LiveStrong.  Over the course of the next 7 days, Chris Roman and Sam Pasceri will run the entire length of the Erie Canal...that's 363 miles in an effort to help raise money for Lance Armstrong's LiveStong Foundation.  They began today in Albany, New York and plan to finish next Saturday in North Tonowanda.  After a route mishap early on, Chris and Sam put in a stellar day one, and I had the pleasure of sharing 26 miles of it.  The route was actually quite cool, passing by several historic sites.  Two videos and several pictures are below, including some cool picks of an Erie Canal lock.  Best of luck to Chris and Sam in their effort!
